It's the holiday season and so begins [continues] consumption. I have two little children - and yes, to a certain extent, they are "permitted" to watch television. The sales pitch, the commercial, seemingly having the most impact [on them] this holiday season is the commercial featuring "Pillow Pets".
I am not however, quite sure what the attraction is; my children have pillows, have stuffed animals, even have a pet - a pet parakeet. But alas, both children desire these department store pillow pets.
Recently, while at a department store, I asked of them, "Why children, do you like these pillow pets so much ?" [And, while I questioned my elder child, I turned around, looked down, to see my younger child snuggling, with the Lady Bug Pillow Pet, on the floor, of the department store].
Okay, so maybe it's more obvious than I thought: to the child, they are cute and they are cozy! Hmmm, happily seduced. And then...

...I came across my own version of the Pillow Pet.
Granted, I wouldn't keep a lion, or an elephant, or a seal or a panda as a pet...ahhh, happily seduced - you'll find me snuggling, on the floor.
